Lemon Tree Hotels had set up a new hotel in Hyderabad in the IT hub. It has 267 rooms and has come up with an investment of Rs. 2000 million. The hotel chain has two brands - Lemon Tree and Red Fox and has 14 properties and has plans to increase it to 20 hotels across 15 cities. The company is also planning an IPO by 2012 to finance its ambitious plans

Westin Hotels & Resorts opens new property in Hyderabad

Westin Hotels & Resorts has opened The Westin Hyderabad Minispace in end 2009. The hotel which has 428 guest rooms/suites is just 30 minutes drive from the new international Hyderabad airport. The hotel also has a 14000 sq.ft for conferences, weddings and conventions. It may be noted, Westin has around 145 properties and is present in over 29 countries.

Hyderabad Daspalla Hotel to be commissioned by 2009 end

Vizag based Daspalla, which is setting up a 110-room 4-star hotel in Hyderabad, will commence operations by year end. The hotel is coming up at a cost of Rs.270 million, of which Rs.110 million will come from promoter and the remaining from banks. The highlight of the hotel is ample parking facilities for 250 cars. The group expects to have a turnover of Rs.200 million in its first year of operations.
