Parsvanth Developers, the real estate company is setting up a 5-star luxury hotel in Vijalpur, near Ahmedabad with an investment of Rs.2500 million.  The hotel will have 152 luxurious rooms, 24 hour coffee shop, multi-cuisine speciality restaurants, shopping malls and multiplexes. The new hotel will be ready by 2010 hopes to do good business with opening of Nano and other new industries coming up in Gujarat.

Carlson group, an international chain of hotels, has opened a 3-star hotel in Ahmedabad in joint-venture with Rising Hotels and Country Development & Management Services with an investment of Rs. 250 million. It is a 68 room hotel priced at Rs.6000 -7000 per day. The hotel features a banquet hall and a 24-hr multi-cuisine restaurant.
